#NZBDSM (undernet.org.) - this channel was opened late 1997 after one member made a concerted effort to gather likeminded New Zealanders in the same place. Another, recognising this was a valuable resource registered the channel to make it a permanent fixture.
From there the channel has gone from strength to strength. Two Munches/Conferences have being held already in the short time the channel has being alive, and a third scheduled for early November.
Regional groups Auckland Bdsm, Uncommon Bonds ChristChurch, and The Endorphin Society in Wellington all orginated from here as did the recently formed Hamilton meets. One thing we have come to realise is people crave interaction with others regarding their kink, whether it be for education, resources, support or simply friendship. You can find it in #NZBDSM.
